About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Growth Engineer with a deep understanding of data analytics, website optimization, student acquisition, and engagement strategies. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow web traffic and engagement with our target students. Additionally, you'll make recommendations for changes to the product that will help us reach our goals.
What You'll Work On
- Conducting growth experiments
- Enhancing the student application flow
- Managing drip email and SMS campaigns
- Integrating affiliate marketing programs
- Implementing referral programs
- Integrating with ads providers for data synchronization
Who You'll Work With
You'll collaborate closely with our growth function and take ownership of the development cycle end to end. This involves drafting specs, gathering input from the team, and shipping features efficiently.
What You'll Need
- Previous experience as a Growth Engineer
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack engineering roles (startups preferred)
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, React, and PostgreSQL
- Experience in integrating with external APIs is highly desirable
- Excellent written and oral communication skills for effective collaboration in a hybrid work setting
