About You
We're seeking individuals with experience in:
- Python, FastAPI (or Flask/Django)
- Cloud infrastructure setup and management on AWS (or other cloud services), utilizing Docker and Terraform
- Datastores: NoSQL, PostgreSQL, Graph database, EBS, EFS, and S3
- MLOps: Monitoring and scaling LLM/ML model deployments
- Compliance: Proficiency in writing SOC2 controls
General preferences include:
- Startup experience
- Competitive programming background
- Side projects, particularly in AI
About the Role
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll collaborate closely with the CEO and CTO to develop our core product offering and expand our team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Deploying LLMs in production and fine-tuning foundational LLMs and search techniques
- Deepening your understanding of APIs and integrating them with LLMs
- Managing cloud infrastructure to support backend operations
- Driving compliance initiatives and maintaining necessary controls
