Role Overview:
We're seeking an SRE who thrives on harnessing data and automation to propel a highly agile infrastructure forward. This role marries infrastructure management with internal tooling enhancements, aimed at streamlining processes to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
As a member of our team, you'll be instrumental in scaling our infrastructure, automating repetitive tasks, and fostering a culture of innovation and continual enhancement.
What You’ll Do:
By 30 Days:
- Utilize your expertise in observability to elevate our existing tools, aligning them with our growth trajectory.
- Enhance automation workflows to streamline infrastructure scaling and elevate the development experience.
By 90 Days:
- Lead initiatives to diversify and scale our platform across multiple regions, ensuring robustness and reliability.
- Evaluate alternative solutions to fortify our real-time data pipeline for improved multi-regional functionality.
- Offer comprehensive platform support to engineering teams, leveraging data-driven insights for decision-making.
By 1 Year:
- Collaborate with engineering to redefine observability standards for our platform, driving frictionless improvements.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of enhancements to our elastic multi-regional storage platform.
- Spearhead platform optimizations to boost reliability and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
Hard Skills:
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps tooling.
- Strong foundation in Observability principles and their practical implementation.
- Experience in a SaaS or PaaS environment.
- Familiarity with our tech stack: Google Compute, Kubernetes, Message Queues, Prometheus, ClickHouse, ArgoCD, Github Actions, Golang. (Ruby / Rails is a bonus)
