The Role
We're seeking a product-oriented engineer, with a focus on full-stack or back-end development, to join our team, which currently consists of 3 engineers.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate, full-time experience required.
- Must be thoughtful and product-driven, with a passion for shipping features and impacting the product's direction.
- The role offers flexibility with a hybrid WFH/in-person setup, emphasizing the importance of in-person presence for team-building and culture in the early stages.
Responsibilities:
- Help shape engineering processes, culture, systems, and codebase.
- Drive the development of exceptional features and code.
- Contribute to strategic decisions on product development and business challenges.
- Collaborate directly with the cofounders on various aspects of the business, including product direction and development roadmap.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of full-time professional software engineering experience.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with common web application frameworks (e.g., Phoenix, Rails, Django).
- Proficiency in at least one relational database system.
Nice To Haves:
- Passionate about interests outside of work.
- Experience with React, GraphQL, and Elixir/Phoenix.
- Previous startup or finance industry experience.
- Interest in investing, creator economies, and/or finance.
