Smart Contract Engineer

About the Role

As a Blockchain Integration Engineer, you'll lead the effort to make our protocol accessible on various blockchain networks. Your primary responsibility will be to rewrite our smart contracts into the native programming languages of different chains. This includes popular chains like Cosmos, Polkadot, NEAR, Stellar, Solana, and potentially any long-tail chains.

Sample Project: "Deploy to Solana"

For instance, a key project would involve migrating the EVM contracts and replicating the functionality in Rust on Solana. This will entail collaborating with engineers from the Solana team to overcome any obstacles encountered during the migration process. Given that many newer chains may lack some required functionality, your communication and collaboration skills will be vital in coordinating with their engineers to address these gaps.

Qualifications

You would be an ideal candidate if you:

• Have experience deploying smart contracts on at least 5 different blockchain networks.
• Enjoy working extensively at the smart contract level, demonstrating a strong grasp of blockchain technology and smart contract development.

Preferred Qualities

However, this role may not be suitable for you if you:

• Dislike documentation, which is an integral part of maintaining clear and comprehensive project records.
• Are not inclined towards assisting customers who utilize our on-chain contracts, as this role involves interacting with and supporting users.
• Are not interested in developing sample applications (frontend, backend, and contracts) that leverage the on-chain contracts you've deployed.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
