Software Engineer

You will:

• Help define and create our core technology stack architecture along with the technical founders
• Build features across the board- anything from in-app purchases, to LLM inference workflows for our AI chat mechanics
• Develop server apps, cloud functions, cron jobs etc required to support live and networked user features such as push notifications,
• Contribute to overall developer velocity by smartly investing in our tools, like a multi-platform per commit build server
• Rapidly prototype ideas for growth features

You must have:

• Demonstrated history of being a hands-on builder of consumer products- work or hobby projects
• 3+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer in consumer mobile apps, modern live service game development or AR/VR across the stack- product to infrastructure.
• You’re equally comfortable building a beautiful sign-up flow pixel perfect to Figma designs and implementing a Discord SDK friendslist sync integration.
• Deep experience with one of C# and modern Javascript/Typescript, with at least familiarity with the other
• Some familiarity with native iOS app development and Swift- or at least eager to learn the basics fast
• Familiarity with modern cloud platforms such as Google Cloud
• Experience with fundamentals of scaling backend- you know your auto-scaling groups and load balancers
• Creative eye and a user-first mentality
• Passion for the cutting edge of applied AI and/or games- ideally both!!

• Experience with live services and rapid-deployment
• Experience with multi-platform mobile product codebases like Unity, React Native, Flutter, etc
• Experience developing real-time multiplayer online products
• Desire to make a huge impact at an early-stage venture-backed gaming startup with huge upside
