In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain services written in Unreal Engine that cater to our real-world customers.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and build a responsive, web-based service on Unreal Engine.
- Serve as the "go-to" person for solving challenging technical problems.
- Utilize your skills to build, evolve, and optimize these rendering services for the best customer experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Unreal development experience.
- Recent experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5.
- Expertise in animation, shaders, and pixel streaming.
- Developed production code using C++ and/or Blueprints.
- Used Unreal engine to build real-world applications.
- Experience in creating multi-user applications.
- Good understanding of how Unreal deals with state.
- Experience with designing modular and scalable software.
- Writes clear, legible, and understandable code.
- Demonstrated experience in taking projects from idea to completion.
- Located in the US, preferably in the Pacific Time zone.
- Excellent online communication and team collaboration skills; English proficiency is a must.
Bonus Points:
- Experience deploying Unreal on AWS or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with auto scaling, data capture, service monitoring, and logging.
