Unreal Engine Developer

In this role, you will use your strong working knowledge of C++, NVidia shading language, and real-time 3D rendering techniques to create and enhance cutting-edge virtual and augmented reality experiences. You will also apply your expertise in performance optimization techniques and industry-standard data formats to ensure our applications are as user-friendly and robust as possible.

Job Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and debug applications using Unreal Engine and C/C++ programming.
2. Implement state-of-the-art real-time 3D rendering techniques.
3. Optimize performance of applications to ensure seamless user experiences.
4. Work with industry-standard data formats like OpenFlight, 3ds MAX, DDS, and RGB.
5. Apply texture compression techniques to optimize application performance.
6. Develop immersive VR/AR experiences.
7. Typically reports to the head of the development team.
8. Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
9. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 5 years of design and development experience.
3. Minimum of 3 years of development experience using Epic Game’s Unreal Engine.
4. Strong working knowledge of advanced C/C++ programming.
5. Strong working knowledge of NVidia shading language.
6. Strong working knowledge of real-time 3D rendering techniques.
7. Experience with performance optimization techniques.
8. Experience with industry-standard data formats such as OpenFlight, 3ds MAX, DDS, and RGB.
9. Experience with texture compression techniques.
10. Experience with animation, 3D graphics.
11. Experience with VR/AR.
