We are looking for a skilled Unreal Engine Developer with experience in developing and maintaining features for Fortnite. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on Fortnite's gameplay mechanics, systems, and tools. This is a full-time position, and the candidate will work closely with the Fortnite team to ensure the continued success and growth of the game.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Fortnite's gameplay mechanics, systems, and tools using Unreal Engine 4.
- Collaborate with designers and artists to implement new gameplay features and optimize existing ones.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure that the project is delivered on time and to the required quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug game issues, as well as identify and implement solutions to improve game performance and stability.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in game development, with a focus on Unreal Engine 4 and gameplay programming.
- Experience developing and maintaining features for Fortnite or other similar games.
- Strong knowledge of programming principles and software engineering best practices.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with the Fortnite game and its mechanics.
- Knowledge of industry-standard software such as Maya and Photoshop.
- Experience with multiplayer game development using Unreal Engine 4.
- Familiarity with other game engines such as Unity and CryEngine.
